I did look into this one recently after I mad a DIY version and some people asked what was a good alternative.
Is the light and the filter on different cables or all in one? Do you have to push the light button to turn it on or can you put it on a timer?

The original light is lost, so using and rgb light unit. That I used on the Palu tall cube from a few years ago. It has red, punk, purple, blue, lavender, green, yellow and orange leds.
The original light unit doubled as a USB hub and you could use it as a charger.
The filter and light have separate USB cables.
There is also room in the sump for a Micro heater if needed for the marine side. as have seen a few marine scapes in this.
The original pump is 180lph I am using a 2lpm pump as wanted to over filter it.
Since this model there are a few different designs now. And some have tubular inlets with multiple weirs for better water ingress to the sump area.
And bigger sizes, and range from £35 and upwards of £60. Cheaper if you buy from China etc or Aliexpress.
Think a few people on here have used some of the other designs since the original Cunzo became popular from Oliver Knotts pico challenge.
I have used clear straws to direct the flow of the outflow. And in the inlet weir to stop the gurgling sound of water.

Have fed a nettle leaf today, and so far ignored it foe some reason. Its not buried under the wood. After adjusting everything.
So I went to deans this afternoon.
And after watching all the shrimp selected one yellow and x2 red Rillis, and a baby yellow rabbit 🐇 snail. Which still looks huge in this.
Got some moss for the moss wall. And forgot to get the black substrate, but it looks full anyway now without it.
Onto the build. As this is so small I took the scouring pads off of some dish sponges from asda. The cheap 40p multipack.
Soaked them to make sure nothing was on them. And cut them to size.
Attached clumps of moss using superglue, as had run out of gorilla gel glue.
Took all the wood out to pit these against the background.
And used the main wood roots to pin this in place. And then added all the broken epices back.
Using scissors snipped up a clump of moss and let it fall where it landed for a natural look.
And as it starts to grow, it will bring greenery back to the dead wood.
I do need to pack one side under the tank to raise the levels. As the water level is a little off.

So some things are not meant to be. Went out last night and came back to the Pico on the floor.
Had left a biscuit on my desk, and the dog had managed to climb up using my chair and had knocked it off getting down i think. or he was trying to drink out of it and knocked while on the desk. The Hardscape was destroyed, but was not enamoured by it tbh. So will think of something else.
Managed to save the 2 blue velvet shrimp as they had made it into the sump and was a little bit of water in there. And the baby rabbit snail seems ok aswell.
I have transferred everything to one of my spare pico betta cubes. And will partition it off to make an in tank sump using some plastic sheeting.
Will post some pix in the next few days once I have it all built and reset.

I chucked it all together, and I actually like it alot more than the it originally was.
Need to attach the moss wall properly, as it's just resting on the sump wall. I just drilled alot of holes to make the inlets.
For the outlet I am using steel drinking straws that I have cut down to size and pinched closed one end. And cut a slot using a dremmel. Thankfully it push fits onto the clear straws perfectly. Made 2 designs to see which I liked better for flow. Might make another one just with the end pinched to make flow even faster outflow.
Going to Deans later to have a browse and get some sand and hardscaping ideas. Though I do have a few small peices of bogwood in the shrimp tub outside. That may work in this.

What a disaster!
Most importantly you saved the livestock & the tank bounced being acrylic. Perhaps your LFS will sell you a cup of sand & a pocket full of pebbles for the new scape!
My tanks are kept shut away from our cats, the little blighters would be in there messing all day otherwise!

Here it is.
Just a small cube from Bardills Aquatics, used for betta displays in store. Think they still have some at £11.99ish each.
I cut a lid to size from plastic sheeting.
And also one to form the sump wall, drilled some holes near the top and bottom for water to pass thru. Used the foams from the cunzo. And set it up.
Under the foams is a layer of Biohome media pellets, from the shrimp tubs. So there may be fauna present that will show up at a later date.
Did not make a new outlet today. Been gaming and all this rain made me want to stay in. Waiting for Hogwarts to install aswell.
The moss wall looks big in this, the glass is magnifying it all. So it looks very close when it's not.
Sadly the rillis and yellow cherries did not make it 😕. Though did have a look in the shrimp tub and luckily there was a purplish one at the surface. So scooped it out and added it.
Most of the leaf litter has almost sank. Once it has will use tweezers to move it all to the substrate level.

I closed all this down. And just chucked everything in a bucket, That sits in a shady spot in the garden. As moving back to Coventry later in the year. Brother has a business opportunity and he is going for it. So needs the equity locked in the house.
Though once I am settled I will have room for bigger tanks without any restrictions. Though I don't think I will get another 5*4*3 again anytime soon. Maybe a 200-300ltr but nothing bigger.
Will miss all the access to the countryside and all the open spaces without using a car. All the big parks are a car drive in cov. Only local ones are tiny compared to derby parks. And no water for the dog to play in.
