I was going to try that but these things were so delicate I figured the bows might see them as food offerings. 😆You can always float them first to allow them to put on a bit of size before planting.
... isn't that the whole point with aquarium plants? So now all I need to do is sit back and wait for them to melt.
Cheers mate, let's hope they take.Nah! they are going to be fine... you will have to trim them in no time!
Sure, a rather eclectic mix.Hi John, could we get a list of all the fish in the tanks?
No worries 👍Thanks for the reply, maybe some of the more peaceful apistogramma sp.? or some nannacara sp. would be cool
you could put the maculatus in one tank and have the filamentosus in the other..... they are both very peaceful in my experience and would be fine with the fish you have in there, especially in a tank that large with that much cover. dont let me convince you though 😂No worries 👍
For some reason I've never really fancied apistogramna sp, no idea why because they are a beautiful fish that would undoubtedly fit my set up.
I have nannacara on my wish list, or rather Ivanacara adoketa, just not sure about the suitability in a community set up. Other one on my hit list for a while is Laetacara dorsigera.
I'm off to Pier aquatics this weekend to hopefully get a trio of Laetacara araguaiae, I also suspect I'll end up peering into the tank of Dicrossus Maculatus (again) and think to myself "can I make this work" 😀
Yep, that would be the idea.you could put the maculatus in one tank and have the filamentosus in the other....
In general I'd agree.they are both very peaceful in my experience
Lol, I don't need much convincing 🤣dont let me convince you though 😂
