First attempt at fishkeeping and aquascaping - 60L tropical aquarium

So, it's been roughly over a month since my last post, and things have been going fairly well... although in a rather unorthodox way. Yes, I know I may have sped things up a bit too much, but reading here and there, taking all the any information and checking how things were going on a daily...

Not sure if this thread is the right place to discuss this but I’m having an issue with getting the right flow/circulation in my tank. It’s 60cm long, 30d and 33h. The filter is 400l/ph and is situated front right as you look at the tank. Plants at the far left have nice gentle movement, with...

Thank you all for your usefull replies. I have no carbon, but will get some tomorrow from the LFS. I suppose my remaining worry is that if they RCS die off overnight, will this cause an ammonia spike in the aquarium? Then causing problems to the fish. I suppose only time will tell.

This sounds like nervous system damage. An ingredient of Indorex is Permethrin, which affects the nervous system of invertebrates, causing paralysis and death in high doses. This would be one of the occasions when adding carbon to your filter would potentially be helpful. If you haven't got room in your filter, just hang it in a bag near the outflow. I would throw in a polyfilter sheet too - again just put it in the flow if you haven't got room in the filter. Both...

I find a p60 a great versatile mid-sized tank, though ideally get one that's 40cm deep rather than the standard 30cm deep so you can get a bit mroe depth into the scape. It makes all the difference, and then have a bit more room for stocking some lovely fish too.
