Hi guys I grabbed this out my supplies the other day and realised I must have overtightened one of the plastic co2 tubing screws. Any one know where I can get some metal replacement ones to fit.
Hey guys I haven't been on for a while but the hobby has still not left me even after 20+ years.
I have just had a second Juwel Helialux Spectrum fail on me by taking in water and moisture to the point it's rotten. I'm deeming these unsafe and far too costly to replace for a third time so I'm...
Hi I'm about to put three bags of Fluval Stratum in my tank and I wondered if it's worth putting peat Balls in first as I have a few bags of them.
Are they worth it or do they just create mess later on.

Hi guys and gals, I'm about to pull the trigger on 3 x bags of fluval stratum 8 kg. I was wondering how you add the element of depth by doing shallow substrate at the front and deeper substrate at the back. Everytime I've done this with my Molar Clay (Kitty Litter) it's ended up leveling out...
Hi all haven't used Co2 for about two-year years so was wanting to know what the best internal Co2 diffuser currently is as of 2019. I still have my Bazooka and the cheaper green Chinese model which was prone to leaking from the glue seals.
Any advise welcome.
Cheers

Hi all haven't been on here for about three years (going by the age of my child). I setup my Juwel 180L using bonsai molar clay and still have it running on it. Looking to rescape the tank in the next few weeks and wondered if there was anything better I should be using now.

Hi guys I'm downsizing from my Juwel Vision 260 to a Rio 180 and have purchased a 30kg sack of molar clay and I've just read a lot of people are using Osmocote in their aquariums especially under the substrate when setting up. Can anyone confirm this and send me a link to the stuff.

Hi all does anyone know of a Reddy Brown substrate that's good for plants that doesn't crumble and cause dust clouds?
I did use standards pettex black gravel but it loses colour way too quick then look wishy washy and gives no growth benefits.

Hi all I'm considering sacking off my Intense atomiser as I have to bleach it every two weeks in order for the flow from it to stay tip top. Is it time I hooked one of my two Eheim 2217's on my Juwel Vision 260 up to an inline atomiser?
What do you think?
Also do they require cleaning regular...
Hi guys can someone ID this nice looking cheap bunch weighted plant I bought?
I am asking as I bought two bunches and one bunch has started to go dark at the base where it has been buried in the substrate. P.S. yes I took off the foam and weight :p
Hi guys wanting to change my reg for one where the working pressure can be adjusted. Saw the above but have since read some bad press on the UP Aqua reg and I would like to know what my alternatives are as there doesnt seem to be much choice from Google searching.
Any info would be great guys...
Hi I'm after a new Co2 regulator that wont break the bank but will work with an UP atomser or bazooka atomiser and is adjustable pressure. I currently have a Chinese one (Azoo I think) from about 4years ago which works but isnt adjustable pressure and fails to put the co2 out of an atomiser...
Hi has anyone got an Eheim Classic Spray Bar setup in a juwel vision aquarium? I'm not sure what connectors I need to get the outflow pipe to enter the aquarium so I can make it a right angle.
At current I only have the shepherds crook pipe.
Hey guys I'm thinking of ripping my Juwel 3D background out as it seems to be an algae attractor and proves to be uncleanable. Also thinking of removing the internal filter as its plain pants and just using my Eheim 2217 for filtration (will buy another for the other side if need be). Back to...
Hi what would be a good BioMedia for my Eheim 2217. I hear some bad things about Eheim's own media kit that's all.
What's your thoughts?

Hey guys looking to change my regulator for one where I can adjust the working pressure. Saw this "up aqua a-165" and wondered if they are an good. I currently use a ceramic spiro co2 diffuser but would like to use my atomisers for the mist effect.
Any input is great guys.
Cheers

I have a vision 260 which uses the internal filter and an Eheim 2217 external and was thinking if these are any good I could hook this up through my Eheim to replace my spiro glass co2 diffuser. What's your experience and thoughts on these - Cheers

Hi guys my tank is looking tip top but I suffer like many from GSA on my Anubias tied to my Redmoor.
It also effects slightly my slow growing Java Fern.
What is the best way to combat this? Some sources say that dosing Flourish Phosphorus slowly removes the GSA.
Any hints would be a great...

The 300W Juwel heater that came with my tank doesn't seem to be much cop as when I turn the heater dial to its max 32 I get an all around tank temp of about 27-28. It is not adjustable says the rep at juwel so I'm stuck with it.
My question is... If I buy say a 400W...
Hi all my Intense Atomiser stopped working after I removed it from the tank during maintainence :(. I have a 5kg extinguisher going through a hong kong eBay dual gauge reg through a brass bubble counter onto rhinox co2 tubing so all should be fine and was fine. I switched back to my old glass...
Hi guys I'm having trouble with my new 5kg fire extinguisher rig. I normally use 2kg but I managed to pick two 5kg canisters up for 45quid delivered to I bought these instead but when I squeeze down on the handle I'm hearing a co2 leak and feeling a puff of air on my hand for a brief second. It...
I recently bought Excel to find my Vallis and Giant Vallis melted within 48hour after dosing which I'm gutted about. Will the vals regrow or are the dead now as all I have left is stumps.
Hi guys I'm about sick of my internal Juwel filter after only 4-5months having had an external filter on my old aquarium.
