IFC Aquarium Fertilizer Calculator

the download link takes me to a page that says "site cant be reached". what am i missing?
It works for me. Problem seems on your end.
The file is on @Hanuman server in Thailand. hes just check it and its fine at his end and working for him, but I cant download myself either in UK. So think its an international internet issue, which should get sorted when the tech guys for internet do there 'stuff'
will keep an eye on it and I post back when its working again or post back yourself if you find its working again yourself
@wayne thrush thanks for the heads up 🙂
No it's not. The file is hosted in SiteGround in their London server so very much in the UK.
this page works for me, but the 'download' button does not. IFC Calculator
I also tried with a VPN to Thailand, I think it is a website problem.
Both the download button and website are working fine for me. IFC Calculator - Maybe an issue with your browser or the forum.
Doesn't have anything do with website as its a direct link to Hanis NAS.
See above 🙂

With Microsoft account you can use it online for free. This is what I’m doing. Or get office app aka M365 Copilot on your phone. That’s what I’m doing too 😁

Yes you can but as I mentionned in the OP the calculator was not fully developped for M365 online. Therefore there are some weird artefacts and unwanted formating issues. It mostly works though but it's preferable to use a local copy of M365. If no other choice it should work.

his website has this url ;

and the download is this url;

sdm_process_download is a download monitior plugin for WordPress sites. It allows you to upload a file and monitor downloads. Last time I looked at it, you couldn't host the file on a NAS for download through the plugin. The file had to to be hosted by the site.

Edit - Sorry hadn't refreshed this page singe yesterday. I didn't see all the other posts made.

It has already been disscussed above. File is hosted in SiteGround.
No it wont. Please read the Technical Notes in the OP.

Ok guys. I was able to replicate the problem. It works on Safari (which is the browser I usually use, hence why I didn't have any issues initially) but not on other browsers. I am looking for a fix.
Problem with the download link has now been resolved.

Sorry guys, this may no the best place for this question:
Using the IFC remincalculator I get my target 3gH and 2kH and a GrandTotal ppm of this, this and that. However, the TargetCalculator does not reflect any of the remincalculator ppm, correct? for example, if I dose 3 ppm of Magnesium from the remineralization process and 3ppm weekly from the TargetCalculator, assuming I do 50% WC, I'm adding 4.5ppm of Magnesium weekly. correct? am I missing something?

Cheers

The ReminCalculator only allows for the water your adding to the tank during WC and not whats already in the tank

Same for Bespoke remin within target calculator ( which was done before the remin calculator)

Hope that helps

Where as the TargetCalculator , DIYCalculator and DIYTraceCalculator calculate the added ppm for the whole tank

In this example the WC is 50% of tank volume the the mass is half in remincalculator that target calculator

Try not to focus on getting the ppm perfect as it doesnt really matter to the plants, Reminerlise your RO water, Then add your fert regime as long as the ferts are in abundance your plants will thrive

I just downloaded the latest versions of the calculator. I can't see an option for using Solufeed for Macros, although have found Solufeed Sodium Free Tea for Micro. Anyone know how I can calculate for Solufeed for Macros?

@Zeus, thank you. Yes, I’d seen that. My question was about macro fertiliser, not micro. A previous version of the calculator has Solufeed 2.1.4 for macro, but the latest version doesn’t appear to support it.

You need to go to CoreSettings to activate that feature. Since this is a compound with multiple salts in it we didn't want to leave it in the macros' table by default as it could be confusing.
So, go to the CoreSettings and look at section 4. AMMONIA & UREA:

then:

You also have the possibility to select Solufeed 4:1:2:

Please note that the target element is NO3 for these 2 products.

This feature was introduced in version 1.3 as per the calcualtor's ChangeLog sheet and after checking still works fine with the latest version 1.3.1
