Sun set at Red Rock Canyon. I have got 8 Rasbora heteromorpha Copper Harlequins for my big tank so have popped them in here for a few weeks to make sure there are free of any disease.

Well 2 and a half weeks in got some new glass ware of ebay for my co2 and every thing is growing well the cuba is sending runners out all over the place and the micranthemoides is to so all good so far was just playing around with different backings.

NIce tank IMO i would lose the wood and just keep the stone. nice start.:)

Nice tank dude moss is on it's way. I have found the best way to fix it to your wood is with bag ties like you get with freezer bags that way you can get it nice and tight on the wood and the moss just grows over it. Good luck on your short time scale.:)

Hi not Sure it depends on what you are wanting to do with them but at that price its worth a go dude you may need a few strips but light is light and plants are not bothered were it comes from as long as there is enough. you may be on to something so its worth a bash then you can let us all know...

Just been to get my co2 filled so all up and running now there is no on off so have set it at 1 bubble every 5 seconds as it is only 20l will keep an eye on the drop checker and adjust it if needed. Not bad for free:)

HI had to jump in i use 6500k only because i don't like the tank looking to yellow as can happen in the lower k. The water just looks crisper under whiter light but thats just me. My plants are not bothered what light they get as long as it is enough:)

HI the bulbs are 35w halolite energy saving bulb 6500k cool white. GU10 fitting form Screw Fix £12.00 each. Going to change them for LED'S when the price comes down as at the moment they are £28.00 each and as i will need 5 that not far of £150 so will have to wait for now.:)

HI i have been using manado with Aquabase and it is perfect for growing HC as the small grain size lets the small plant creep through with no problem and you can see your shrimp pick it up and clean it. :-)

Ye i am really happy with the service i would recommend the filter to any one as it is spot on for the money a lot of the big brands need to look at the pricing when compered to this for £69.00 you get a lot of filter for your money and the service to match well done All pond solutions :-)

Your right there i love my Growbeams my tank is lit by 4 and the glitter lines that bounce all over the house on a night look ace. And never having to change the bulbs they will pay for there selfs over there life time. Long live the LED lol.
