What fertiliser

Hi all,
Is there a specific fertiliser that people use for hardwater like in London?
They should all be all right for the major plant nutrients. The major issue is likely to be iron (Fe), purely because it is difficult to keep in solution in harder, more alkaline water. <"Iron gluconate"> based chelators (like <"Seachem Flourish Iron">) are particularly like to be ineffective in more alkaline water.

Have a look at <"EDDHA Fe color">.

Horticultural hydroponic fertilisers, of which I'm normally a fan, get around the hard water issue by being strongly acidifying, and for that reason (and their ammonia / ammonium (NH3 / NH4+) content) I'd keep away from them <"Superior Fertilizers - Vigil and Fleury">.

cheers Darrel
