Algae and melting is an indication of way too much light for the level of CO2 and fertilisation. Your TMC tiles are very capable of vaporising plants very easily if not controlled.
Most people start the TMC1500 tiles at 10-20% for first couple of weeks, while their plants "bed in" and they fiddle to get their CO2 flow and distribution sorted. (and fiddle with fertilisers).
You are using Tropica Specialised, but that is N & P & micro and as your are using CO2 you will also probably need a supply of potassium.
If using CO2, EI is the fertilisation way to go, you are not paying 99% premium for Tropica water this way.

I think this kit will make about 24litres (12macro, 12micro) of fertiliser. Thus 500ml costs 40p, add and nice 500ml pump bottle (Ebay 60p) and you have almost the same as Tropica for £1 a bottle. Done.
