Hello Friends
I have been having chlorosis problem in my tank recently. I dosed magnesium (5 ml) and iron (5 ml) to the tank. However, this problem still continues.

It isn't magnesium deficiency, that would effect older leaves.

How long have you been dosing iron? It might be iron (Fe), but iron availability is usually more of an issue in harder, more alkaline water.

Manganese (Mn) deficiency might be an option, it is an unusual but we have seen it, and it would cause chlorosis in new leaves.

Cheers Darrel

I would look into nitrogen as well. Maybe decrease the light intensity a bit and increase the nitrogen.

What is your CO2 regime?

My immediate thoughts were Nitrate - very easy under intense light and with CO2 injection (which I guess is being used) to see Nitrate levels plummet.

It might be NO3 limitation as well, but nitrate as mobile within the plant, so deficiencies tend to show in older leaves.

@Hufsa has a thread where she had manganese (Mn) deficiency, due to her incredibly pure tap water.
