Ooh this is not so much as I suspected, that this is enough with all this emersed growth.. You don't run the lights at full power ?

I do (subject to tweaking of the colour profile), but they're only 90W each, and suspended about 80cm above the surface - so inverse square law and all that jazz means not a huge amount of light at substrate level.
