I've had my marine tank for a year now and my levels are fine and my fish are thriving. Does anyone know what these plants/algae are called?

Hi all,
Does anyone know what these plants/algae are called?
It could be a red cyanobacteria (in which case it would be slimy to the touch), the other alternative is a coralline algae (Rhodophyta) (rough to the touch), some-one else will know which one @Courtneybst or @Geoffrey Rea

We actually have a marine section <"Marine"> so you could ask the moderators to move this thread to it where you may get more responses (and definitely more informed ones).

cheers Darrel

Looks like cyanobacteria to me.

When you say levels are 'fine', do you have figures? Cyanobacteria can go under the radar in regards to water tests because they consume large amounts of phosphate, so it often appears that phosphates are very low or zero, even if that's not the case.
