H all,
I'd add some KNO3, skim off some more duckweed and see what happens. Plants show a rapid response to nitrogen, so they should green up fairly rapidly.
cheers Darrel
Definitely add some, I still think it is a nitrogen issue, I said so earlier in the threadi don't add nitrogen, because i feed everyday my shrimps with lots of food! I suppose that i have nitrates higher than zero and i'm a little worry about nitrates versus shrimps! What you think?
and Tom "Plantbrain" saidI'd agree with "Plantbrain", I'm pretty sure this is nitrogen (N) deficiency
Plants require more nitrogen (N) than any other element (other than carbon (C)), you can think of growth as a bit like an assembly line, the plants can't grow any faster than the availability of the limiting nutrient, in this case almost certainly nitrogen and, for the submerged plants, carbon. Some of the plants look like Nitrogen issues.
