Aha... so asellus is the water louse. I have many in my pond but I've never heard of them being kept in an aquarium. Do they cope with tropical temperatures then?
I have an unheated and unfiltered tank in the garage with only hornwort and snails in... I could put a few from the pond into there 🙂
I'm trying to set this tank up in such a way that it pretty much self-sustains without electrics or intervention from me, other than adding an occasional food source.
The intention is that should I get pea puffers in future I will have a ready supply of live food...
