Hi all,
@dw1305 can testify to the dangers of fishkeeping with a feline assistant ...
She is very reluctant to leave the aquarium lid, when the light is on, which means trying to feed the fish etc. is quite problematic and likely to lead to scratches, or a little bit of light nibbling damage.

cheers Darrel

She obviously appreciates the warmth of the lights. Our cat knows where all the hot water pipes are and seeks them out when it gets cold.

My Border Collie Jess, he completely tries to disrupt me at waterchanges often sits between me and the tank and desperately trying to get my attention he often drops a ball into one of the prepared buckets of water, He's almost 14 and is a constant companion so l forgive him ,just haha

I've got a low, open topped tank that's covered with duckweed and floating stuff. Obviously it's a perfect water source for the dog and every so often I'm convinced she inadvertently swallows a shrimp.
