For A. Pedicatella, I feel that algae and stunting are separate (but related) issues.

Algae
often happens on the lower leaves. For example in the photo above, the stem on the left has been suffocated by the Synoganthus for the longest time. Once the stem grew taller than the Synoganthus and saw unobstructed LED light for the first time , I think it puts its energy into growing the leaves that are exposed to the LED light while the leaves in darkness were 'deprioritised' (mobile nutrients channelled to the leaves receiving more light):D Hence, you can see the algae on the lower leaves while the top looks ok.

Stunting appears to be related to hard water (TDS 200ppm+) AND/OR overly rich water column dosing.
Yeah I have 300-350 tds water from tap, so do you think it is not possible to grow it with my water?

The truth is that I don't know whether it is possible to grow A. Pedicatella in 300-350 tds water - i haven't tried so I have no experience.

Okay it is been a while. Got RO device, going to mix ro and tap water today hope finally it will grow. Also got chihiros wrgb2 pro.

Hi all! I have questions , so I switched to RO water, my TDS is 120 ppm. I dose APT 3 5 ml every day, but my rotala orange juice, bacopa salzami purple and golden nesaea leavers are metling. What could be reason for that? Please see the attached photos.

I'm not sure (in fact I've got no idea and I'm not a stem grower) but just a thought or two. Do you think it could possibly be die back from reducing the mineral content of your water (RO) by two and a half times. Is flow not a problem now the plants have filled in (not sure what your distribution and turnover rate and is like). It looks to me a little bit like it could be fert imbalance (I presume you are adding some Magnesium to your RO/tap to achieve roughly a 3:1 ratio with the remaining Calcium), I also think some of those stems are notoriously dramatical with change etc. Most of the plants look lush in the two photos above from 03/06 but one or two species don't, it's difficult to provide a perfect environment to grow all different plants together, it's a fine art being able to do so, @erwin123 journal springs to mind My 60p soft water
Hope you reach a conclusion soon and will be watching.
