My first aquarium, running for 7 months

Well done, it’s a great looking scape with very healthy looking plants.

So a bit history, unfortunatelly did not know abut UKAPS that time. So lets do a mini journal.
1) Hardscape soaking and preparation
2) Initial scape version, did not like and rescaped after 3 days.
3) The second version, also did not like it.
4) Pre final version, but since that did a lot of changes
5) Filled the water, overflow was leaking , drained a tank
6) Overflow was fixed, added some black stones for contrast
7) Was cycling for 6 weeks and after introduced some plants

8) Planting was on it way, but first added first inhabbitants. But lost some of angels, probably tank was not stable enough
9) Adding more plants. Some plants started to melt and become yellow. By that time was looking Geroge Farmers videos, got some Tropica fertilizers, but dosage was not correct at. After couple of days found this forum and got a lot of advises.
10) More and more plants. (I`m obsessed with plants now)
11) Found ancistrus fry in sump
12) First angelfish spawn and got a lot fry from this
13) More and more plants, but some of them were dying and melting because of impromert fertilizer dosage and lack of CO2
13) Got some success withy crypts
14) It was growing not bad, except Alternatheras mini
15) BBA, Staghorn started to grow. Got nice advises here and in couple of weeks beat them
18) CO2 system installation going high tech in hope that Alternathera will start to grow.

While this 7 months, did a lot of replanting. But still strugelling with alternathera mini (not growing, melting, added some root tabs from tetra 2 weeks ago). Cryptocoryne Usteriana which expected to cover the right back side also still not growing. Echinodorus argentinesis which expected to cover right corner also still not growing.
But in general for first time I think it is not too bad.
Now trying to convict my wife and get OASE ScaperLine 100 to fix my all mistakes and to make nice planted tank. Maybe after year will rescape this one as well.

Don't be so hard on yourself, your tank looks great. Making an 800 litre look this good when it's your first aquarium is no mean feat.

Great looking tank. Looks similar to George Farmer’s setup I recently saw on YouTube!

Moved some plants, added new ones, treamed some on background. Seems everything growing nice. Java moss is annoying, it is everywhere

Thank you for nice words! Yeap it is a first tank.
In the front I have fine gravel, I got advise from forum member to add some root tabs (tetra sticks), also add tetra crypt tablets and than plant, seems growing well.
In the background I have soil ada + denerle.
I`m going to start 60l tank, so there I will try dennerle deponit mix as base and dennerle soil on top.
