Could someone please I.D this moss for me.Could it be Spikey moss by any chance?

Hi all,
Definitely could be "Spiky" moss, I know it is good grower, and yours looks to be doing very well. Spiky is a Taxiphyllum sp., so should be quite soft to the touch. If it feels grittier, it is likely to be a Vesicularia sp.

Thanks Darrel,just had a bit of a feel test and it is pretty soft,certainly not particularly gritty.

I'm not sure whether it attaches or not under-water, but it definitely does from a dry start. <spiky moss. Does it ever attach? | UK Aquatic Plant Society>.

The moss is likely to be Java moss, definitely is not Spiky moss.
