Morning all.I’m new to this forum and To
aquaScaping. I recently purchased a fluval flex
57 l. It’s heavily planted and I currently have eight Tetras and 3 guppy’s. My daughter has her heart set on a male betta. Is this suitable or would it be over populated

Hi and welcome

I don’t think it’s recommended to keep male betta with guppys as they look so similar, that the betta is likely to mistake it for a rival and attack it.

It’s a good excuse to set up a 2nd betta tank though... ;)

It looks like "White Spot", I've used <"EsHA Exit"> successfully in the past.

Can you get to the Aquatic Store (in Bedminster) they should be able to advise you (or the MA at Wyevale by the Brislington Park and Ride? or Parker's at Iron Acton?).

cheers Darrel
