Low Tech Juwel Lido 120

Know what you're saying, but the BBA appeared very quickly after increasing intensity and then disappeared equally quickly after reducing it. It's at around 75% at the mo (has been for a couple of months), so a decent amount. The floaters cover the surface after a couple of weeks, so I'm pulling them out regularly. I wanted a Chihiros Universal, but value-wise, the Twinstar G-Line looks like a better value alternative. I want something adjustable, with better colour rendition, as the Juwel lights are very white.

Yeah, I'd be interested to find out the KH and PH- will hopefully get a testing kit at some stage.

A quick update:
I am 'upsizing' to a Juwel Rio 240 (4ft). Ideally, I would've liked to keep both tanks, but just don't have the space/funds. I'm really chuffed with the Lido, especially the plant growth... but, onwards and upwards. I collect the Rio next weekend and am going to set it up next to the Lido, so I can easily move plants and hardscape over. I'll swap the filter media etc, so I'm looking for a fairly quick start. The new set up will have plenty of plants, but not jungle style. At the moment, I'm aiming for a triangular stone/wood peninsula scape. I want plenty of sand for the Corys.

Fish-wise, I'll move the current inhabitants over and will add more Cardinals, some Angels (probably 4), Rams (4 again) and some medium sized tetras, such as Blueberry/Emperor/Bentosi. Currently I have 5 x Cardinals, 5 Reed tetras, 5 Lemons, 4 Panda Corys, 4 Ottos, 2 Amano Shrimp, a multitude of Red Cherries (I know these will take a hit, once the new inhabitants are introduced), Ramshorn, Bladder and MTS.
