Just found it growing on my vals.
In full flow off the filter outlet.
Given the plant a good trimming back as is was growing too tall covering the surface blocking the light and noticed it growing on it.

Thanks I have slowly been upping the lighting time. So may knock it back an hour. It's up to 9 hours. Due to illness the tank hasn't been cleaned for nearly two weeks now.

I only tend to get on a few leaf tips, always in the light and current, when I've not cleaned the filter for a long time.

Hi ; yes it is staghorn algae ; I got it when I started the tank and when after about a month I have put reflectors on the T5 and thus increasing the light available for the plants ; but the plants didn't really need it, because their growth haven't really started; so I had to remove the reflectors and I began to use liquid carbon ( I was already using pressurised CO2 and I have been using both ever since )
