Hi, I'm Kamlesh Barot.
I had started with small guppies from sand garden ponds in tin boxes as a kid, migrated to 1 feet cubes and 3 feet rectangles, till I got my tank 13inches or 33 cms x32 inches or 81.3 cms x 21 inches or 53.3 cms so water capacity is 33x81.3x53.3 divived by 1000 = was 142.99857 lts or 143 litres aquarium size or 37.7762 gallons opening 13" 9 clear x 21" 18 clear x 1" ht in 1997 . On 20.12.2017 I partitioned the tank to 13.5 inches or 34.29 cms * 20 inches or 50.8 cms * 21.5 inches or 54.61 cms = 34.29*50.8*54.61 divided by 1000 = 95.13 lts or 25.13 gallons. Had a few issues with algae for a few years since 1997, especially hair but when I put the circulation rotor, it also vanished.
I don't stock much fishes, except Black Mollies and Guppies. Have a sword carpet, Cabomba today. But had tried

For my Ehiem Canister filter from 12 noon to 23.00 ; LED light 18.30 to 23.30 ; CO2 17.30 to 23.00 ; EI Ferts I alternate on days with Macro – Micro 10 ml at 19.30 ; Fish food 10.00 & 23.00. Later I changed to these
timings from; Dose EI ferts at 2000 hours, pressured CO2 from 16300 hours to 2100 hours, 6500 K LED light from 1800 hours to 2330 hours , I use ADA Amazonia and river sand with glass marbles as substrate, do religious weekly water changes, wave makers from 1000 hours to 2300 hours, Ehiem filter from 1200 hours to 2300 hours.
The EI fert is : Macro NPK potassium nitrate kno3=20.94; mono potassium phosphate kh2po4 =3.19; magnesium sulphate mgso4=86.82; potassium sulfate k2so4=28.62
For Micro Plantex CSM+B = Chelated mix DTPA not EDTA=5.6gms/500 ml;10ml dose
At times I used DTA copper salt 450/50g; iron salt 350/50g;manganese 425/50g; zinc 450/50g.
