How/Where did you hear about Ukaps.org?????

Hello just joined, site came up as I was looking for places to collect rocks and wood from rather than aquatic shops etc.
I live in Essex UK, just starting to set my tank up bit by bit, so much to take on board want to read and see before I commit to a full planted tank or fish. Looking forward to read some comments.

Good afternoon all.
I am Pete from Kent UK.
I found the page by searching lilly pipes. I wasn't looking for videos but wanted content via Forum. I am glad I found this page. Lots to read and look into for my 120G. I have been keeping fish for 40 years or there about. I have kept lots of species over the years but one of my favourite are cory's. I cant do much more right now as my tank is settled and I don't like to change things around much on a whim. 24" high 4 foot tank. Filtered with FX6 (hence my issue with lilly pipes) But they would look so much more aesthetically pleasing.
Current fish stock. 5 Blue angles, 1 L015, 10 cory's, 4 Bolivian rams (red ram) x4 Bosmani rainbows, 6 Clownloach,
Lighting is Fluval LED Fresh and Plant 800mm on fluvalsmart. plus 2xT5
Plants are Standard Vallis, what looks like creeping jenny (its not that of course) single Amazon sword, green and red crypt (just thinned them out big time)
Sub-straight is JBL Manado x 50L I have 25 spare just in case. May or may not have over ordered 😎 I am looking to build back up my plant stock for the tank.

Greetings from Ukraine 😉

Google Almighty brought me here when I searched info on some British biotopes to use in my 2022 BAC entry. But the Biotope section here is a disappointment and needs some good threads.

my present star - monkey goby (Neogobius fluviatilis), endemic of the Southern Buh river basin
Neogobius fluviatilis, бичок пісочник, бичок-бабка (1).jpg

And if I'm lucky to survive the russian war - you'll find out a lot of useful and funny facts about keeping this "monster" and many other European creatures

Welcome. Maybe you could help to make it better 🙂

Hello!

I have been checking in here for information for years. Since the old search engines were invented, it seems these pages and forums pop up pretty regularly in results. Lately that mostly means Google, of course. This particlular time I was looking for information on iron phosphate formation in the tank (and found what I was looking for).

Thank you for being here.

Vincent
