Found this on my dog walk today. Too big for my small tank, to small for my big tank, and only one piece like it. Pointless really.

Still had to take it home.

If it really does have a slightly metallic sheen? I think it might "slag" <"from metal smelting"> (possibly zinc (Zn), lead (Pb) or copper (Cu)).

I don't think it is, based on where I've collected it from. The sheen is 'oil' that was on it (which isn't oil...). Anyway.

You got me thinking now. Not another set up, just a bigger tank. Upsize from a 32cm to a 45cm... now that's going to eat at me. Damn.
