First planted tank.

Ok so my 95g co2 lasted one week after pumping out the correct ppm. I've bought a new diffuser that should mash the co2 up a little better. Considering adding an external filter aswell. I have one laying about that I could hopefully mod the eheim fittings onto.

So I added the external last night. Loving it. Ran the eheim spray bar across the back of the tank and I'm happy with the flow. Just need to tidy up the installation when i get the chance. Hopefully filling my 500g co2 bottle tomorrow and my super atomiser should be here next week. Kind of gutted I bought it before I setup my filter or I would have gone inline. Oh well.

Decided to top and replant my rotala thismorning as I was getting annoyed at seeing my lush growth sat on top of a nasty looking bottom as the supplier couldn't look after them properly. I only trimmed the right hand side as the left hasn't taken off as well yet. I did add a few of the bottoms to the left hand side tho. Hopefully it all continues to grow well. Fingers crossed.

Got any new pics mate? I have given up posting pics until I build my new optiwhite setup, but need to build a cabinet first.
not really. I've been a bit busy so the tank needs some TLC. I try get round to giving it a trim and clean this w/e. yeah I can't wait to see that setup. I've got the same issue, need the stand built for my opticube. Trip to B&Q will be soon tho. Planning on using my tmc tile on it. I'm hoping to move soon to somewhere that will take the weight of a big tank. Going to look at a 500L in Somerset in the next few days. Fancied a big low tech tank. Good luck with the optiwhite mate 😉

Re: First planted tank.

Moved the plants around today. The rotala needs to grow to pop up from behind the rocks again but I'm happy with it now. Lots of growing to go.
