    Cheers guys, it has so far withstood being moved several times with the full tank on and still going strong lol

    Looks great, but won't MDF bubble up like crazy when it comes in contact with water? :(

    Seal with couple of coats of pva glue (mixed with a bit of water to thin) then couple of thin coats of emulsion then final coats of whatever paint you want and water won't get to it. My cabinets are home built and have survived spillages and leaks.
