Just had the first rat-tailed maggot of the year from the half oak barrel 'pond' in my garden today. Almost nothing more entertaining than watching a 2cm bumblebee goby trying to eat a maggot of equal length.

Be careful i don't know much about bumblebee goby but i once had a Neon Tetra that choke to death with a blood worm 🙁

Be careful i don't know much about bumblebee goby

I think the Goby is probably fairly safe as Rat-tailed maggots are pretty squashy and don't have hard parts like a Blood-worms head capsule.

I believe (and I am ashamed of myself) that I have choked 2 of my fish on frozen bloodworm.
