Hi,
my aponogeton ulvace us has produced a long thin growth with what looks like a reed type growth on the end. Can anyone explain what this is please??

flower spike, perhaps?
My thought as well, if it is it should develop really quickly and look a bit like green spaghetti. If it is actually A. undulatus, this produces adventitious plantlets rather than flowers (A bit like Echinodorus can do).
