ADA aqua soil powder and snails

Hi,
In the past I have mainly used Tropica substrate topped with fine sand and it has proved very successful. Now for my next tank I was thinking about using ADA aqua soil powder amazonia on the back of recommendations from my LFS but I still have a few questions that need answering:

First of all, can anyone confirm that I am not supposed to add sand on top of the ADA aqua soil?
Also, I ended up breeding assassin snails in my last tank, they loved the sand and used to burrow in it...will it be the same with the ADA?

Hello,
You can do whatever you want, but the fine sand grains will ultimately fall down and mix with the Amazonia.
