I think that's the image you tried quote :)...there is certain foods that are meant to help them colour up. Giving them time certainly helps, lighting can also.

I got the 40ppi 50mm thick foam I ordered from Finest Filters. Quick delivery and it seems ok, in fact I think the 40ppi is perfect for the inlet pipe.

So sorry to hear about this. Activated charcoal will work but if it were me I might try stirring the activated charcoal right into the water column directly, then filter out the charcoal. The culprit here is probably the permethrin in the Indorex Defence Spray and it is not very water soluble...

IMO, because it’s a 58L low tech tank with a 400lph filter, circulation will be sufficient and there is no need for all plants to have a gentle movement.

Most vets practices have care plans whereby you get monthly flea treatment and three monthly worming tablets, a free nurses consultation in a year, annual vacination booster. Well worth considering

The clue is in the name... the 'filter' is designed to filter, not push water around the tank. You can add a small powerhead to get the flow where you want in the manner you'd like it to be.

I find a p60 a great versatile mid-sized tank, though ideally get one that's 40cm deep rather than the standard 30cm deep so you can get a bit mroe depth into the scape. It makes all the difference, and then have a bit more room for stocking some lovely fish too.
