Keep it simple scape getting out of hand

Thanks guys! You're right. It's Hydrocotyle leucocephala. On the foreground H. tripartata. If anyone want cuttings, no problem.... I'm considering to change the right side. Changing this tank is a bit hard. The natural growth of this tank makes it hard to change the scape easily. Specially...

Keep it simple scape getting out of hand

 I absolutely love the shades. I must be honest. On pics it's much darker as for real because of the high lux output of the bright sun's I always have to adjust the diafragma. Fish love shady spots also. I have less stressy fish and those CMD lights give a very natural sun effect.

    hillstream ideas needed

    hillstream ideas needed

Yeah, that's a nice one but a littlebit to boring for me to have that for a showtank in the office on 2meter size. It doesnt have to be a heavily planted tank and I tend to an asian fastflowing river is a biotopedirection.

    hillstream ideas needed

Hi Guys, I'm searching for nice pics for inspiration. The goal is to create a hillstream tank with a bit of iwagumi flavour in a 200x50x50 tank. Biggest issue is the background of the tank. This tank needs a background because of the sorry state of the glass. Any ideas?

The UKAPS massive, invade Holland! Vivarium 2011

Talking about massive: Here's the background we made during the 2 day fair. Now installed in the 3 meters tank. It looks a bit silly now, a fresh background with no water in the tank. Anyway within a few weeks this background will look stunning hopefully.

    shof off pic

Well, a lot has changed the last months. Again I had KH problems due to the rocks I added. I lost a lot of species again but new are added to the scene! H. costata, V, americana var. natans for example. Except of the ferns the herbarium now is pretty much guinea/australia orientated as possible...
