Yes, Mayaca sellowiana seems correct. I had never heard of it but it came recommended to me given my setup. Keen to see how it develops.Might we be looking at a Mayaca species ?

In low-tech, it definitely requires soft acidic water. Good indicator of iron deficiency. Only yesterday, i moved her sister - Mayaca fluviatilis - from soft acidic tank to a tank with pH = 7.0 and a bit alkalinity. I'm curious to see the result; it grew very quickly in the first one, and whenever I accomplish a success, I can't avoid tendency to quit and try different conditions... unless I know about all on a given species, and then I usually donate it.Keen to see how it develops.
I only wish I could buy mystery plants each week! This is fun, we should do this more often!
Same time next week @Chris_Homan ?
