Hello All

Just received my WRGB2 pro 120 here in the UK

My tank is 135cm length, rimless 12mm glass and this light is suitable for tanks up to 140cm

I'm not happy with the quality of the brackets, I'm having to extend a bit due to length of tank but it's still within specification of the light.

To me it sags too much and this is because the bracket that fits to the glass isn't a tight fit and has no way of tightening. It says in description glass up to 12mm yet it seems like it's more for 15mm glass.

I've looked at the hanging option with brackets at the back but I've seen a video on YouTube of the hanging kit for the pro version and the quality of this also looks poor so don't fancy spending quite a bit extra on that kit.

Has anyone got the pro 120 and got a DIY or 3rd party mounting solution?

Don't get my wrong the light isn't going to fall down I am just chasing a perfect fit and strong mount, especially when it's cost me almost £500

See attached photos

Many Thanks

James

Not sure how much it would help you because of the stretch you have, but if the brackets I use were flipped round the other way (from the way I have them pictured below) it may save you an inch reach each side and be enough to stop the droop - the brackets are only about £18, I use them on two tanks and probably one of my better purchases.

As Mat stated the legs should be to the left of the aquarium glass rim!
The only thing I can think of is to purchase some black perspex/black silicone and fit it into the leg holders for a snug fit against the glass!
