Hi all,
Luis looking at the leaf I would be fairly confident that it will grow emersed. I would suspect that it is really a marsh plant that is sometimes inundated. I've seen Ranunculus repens (Creeping Buttercup) growing at the bottom of some turloughs (in the Burren) where it must spend 6 months under water.
There are a number of Ranunculus spp. (Water Crowfoots) that only grow as aquatics, but they have much, much finer more dissected leaves.
This is an aquatic leaf from our native R. circinatus
Cool, I will try it this week. I have a emersed pot on the sitting room with polygonum, hydrocotyle, echinodorus and hairgrass, would be good to add this one as well.
