I used a wabi kusa ball that i made by myself.

I just add some amano shrimps. An advice for a small fish to make a godd cohabitation are welcome !

Really elegant and beautiful. I like this a lot.

As for fauna I was talking to somebody about a similar setup at my LFS the other day. He has something like it with five or six guppies in, no filtering or heating either but he does do a 50% water change every other day.
That has been going for a good couple of months now without any issues.
