Which plant is this?

I found a nice plant in a stream in south China, but I have no idea what it is....anyone here that could help?

Great....so it doesn't even look nice, I can eat it too...actually I popped a leaf in my mouth and indeed it tastes like Water Cress (I hope I won't die now), but I've never seen one with those striped leaves before.
I doubt it will do you much harm, but don't eat it, it is a common source of liver fluke for Humans. The striping may be related to herbicide damage, as the plant looks a bit "curly" as well.

It grows best in flowing calcareous water, so most of the commercial production in the UK is based around spring water from the chalk aquifers in Wilts, Hants etc.
