Which one ?

Hello I have been looking at two lens, can i have your thoughts on them please

I like the 1:2 macro. Will this be any good ? Wouldn't mind trying some macro. But the wallet wont let me buy the 100mm canon macro 🙁

I have been using the Sigma and it is a great lense for the money!
Im sure there are few other colleagues over here, that are using or have used this lense with great success!

Why did u all pick sigma over the tamron ? any reason ?

I only bought mine because John Starkey was selling it on after buying something far nicer and shinier 🙂

I would also go for the Sigma, I had this one for some time and it was pretty good, I would however look for the APO version of it, which has better glass!

Sigma but get the APO version as the difference is worth it. The tamron 70-300mm are also very goo though

One thing to bear in mind is that whilst you may upgrade your camera from time to time, a lens is for life, not just for Christmas. Get it right first time.
