Where to put 2 canister filters output?

Hello,

I have a 300l aquarium, 2 canister filters 1500l/h each. Now im using the flutes, one each lateral glass. One points sligthly up the other points sligthly down.
I have 6 Manacapuru Angelfish but I will change for 6 Discus.

My question is, is this the best way to set the outputs of the filters or there is a best way to set them?

All depends on your Scape and plants and how they effect the flow. But the aim is normally to get the outputs to maximise the turnover in planted tanks. The output from the filters will be dependant on there make and how much media you have in them.

You don't mention CO2 yet you have followed the X10 rule of filter output to tank size so I assume you may have a high tech planted tank.

If it's not a high tech planted tank the turnover of the tank doesn't need to be as optimal.

Pics of tank and some more info on your hardware would be helpful.
