What is this?

I had the same stuff on my stuarogyne , got told it was algae so I followed the standard procedures and it went away

if they are like small dots, might be fresh water limpets. theyre shells are transparent and theyre insides are a little white, sometimes with a brown or black spot. They cling to plants and glass. Ive had them for ages, never been a problem, they eat algae.

I am confused now as they do look like hydra but the tank has been running for couple of months and nothing new has been introduced? They don't look like the white spot in that link :/
