What is this goo?

Its in my shrimp tank, should i remove it as its spreading fast, what causes it... anyone know?

I had that in a nano tank I did. Diatoms I went with but it cleared up when I upped the Co2. Bloody stank as well. Has it all over the bogwood.

Have you put new wood in? It often grows that mucusy goo. Doesn't harm anything and goes away by itself, although you can syphon it out to speed it up.

It was new wood, yeah. Looked similar though.
