What height should my lights be ?

Hi all I am just wanting some information from the experts I know that every tank is different and I don't know what par readings I am getting but just some opinions would be great , I have a ada 60f shallow aquarium and my lighting unit is a Hagen glo light unit with 1x 24w power glo bulb, I have just planted a hc carpet and wanting a good start, the tank has co2 using inline diffuser and daily ei dosing ( new thread in journal section) I used to have lights 1m above tank as had bad algae but now with the more in demand hc what height would you recommend starting from ? 90cm above at the minute any recommendations and help greatly appreciated
