That's one thing I haven't checked. Could you be a bit more specific?
Gecko have calcium sacks at the back of their throat, almost like our tonsils.
(They deplete these reserves if they’re not getting a good level of supplementation).

Males sacs are smaller and a little harder to spot than the females as they obviously need higher reserves for breeding. (Juvenile females may have smaller sacs too).

It will also give you a good idea of sex if you haven’t managed to identify by looking at the geckos underbelly.

Pick your gecko up and stroke the side of its mouth, this should prompt it to open up.
 
Guess I better update this.
So, it's a girl. After refusing food for a good while, she passed an unfertilized egg. After that, she went back to being a picky eater. So, she's still not gorging herself, but feeding is fairly regular now.

I'll check with a vet at some point, and provide sepia shells on the regular.
I might look into providing bugs for her again, but she's never had any interest in those. Pangea with papaya, thank you, nothing else😅
