Up Inline, help!

Anyone else have a problem getting the tubing on?!

Can get the eheim tubing on the ends no issue but getting those wind down nuts back over I'm finishing it impossible! Have put ends of pipe in boiling water but making no difference what so ever.

Any tips much appreciated

Don't trust the locking nuts unless you accidentally want to start syphoning your tank onto the floor. I use stainless Jubilee clips to hold the 22mm hose on my in line diffuser.
