UP atomizer?

does it go directly into the tank? and will i need 1 when i get my FE with the TMC V2 CO2 Pressure Regulator Pro?
 
It can go inside i believe, however i have mine outside of my tank it connects between tubing on your external filter and disperses Co2 from the outflow pipe into your tank.
