Unusual fish

Love both fish and have kept them in the past.
How are you finding the Paradoxus, i found them easier once they started taking live foods and hunting for foods.
For the liquorice, Old school tip, the 35mm film canister make great nestings tubes for them,
Most unusual I have kept would probably be the Glass Gobies, sadly didn't survive long. And most of the FW pipefish.

Gorgeous parosphromenus!! I also love elephant noses, I remember one at Bristol zoo a couple decades ago.
I don't know if they're that rare, but I have some sundadanio axelrodi blue that are a struggle to find down south. I think I have a good mix of males and females, however I've never seen any fry - think any may have been picked off by the tetras and rasboras. Reading about them being timid is laughable - I can imagine they would be with large fish, but they're menaces in my set-up. Crap flash phone photos but they're fantastically iridescent.

Not as rare as they used to be, and my phone camera isn't up to capturing them, but I have 4 Bolivian Orange "Lemon" Tetras. Stunning colours, especially the touches of true red on them. Unfortunately they don't really like each other, and hide out in the plants, staking out separate territories. They declare a truce at feeding time, and come together then.
Interesting to consider that if I had more, would they shoal? My tank is 121cm long / 240 litres, so might not be able to afford that experiment!

how have you kept him? like food, tank size, parameters ect
She's in a paludarium with about 500l of water, and shared with a bunch of smaller fish and a couple of larger plecos. Water is softish and around 25C, but I don't think they care that much as long as it's clean and not super hard.
Feeding includes various frozen foods (mosquito larvae, artemia, mysis, etc) and a homemade mix (with shellfish, veggies, and so on), plus occasional live treats in summer (earthworms are a firm favourite). Pretty much anything dropped in the tank is investigated (including algae tablets), but the food needs to be fairly small and soft in order to be accepted. The amount she eats is staggering though, tankmates includes a school of congo tetras, countless Fundulopanchax gardenri and a group of young siamese algae eaters, all of which together eats about the same amount in a day as she does. I think this is where most people go wrong, and frequent large feedings seem to be needed to keep them healthy long term.
