UKAPS Meet @ Aquarium Gardens April 28th

Hi Everyone it was really good to meet fellow members today. Thanks @Geoffrey Rea and @Aquarium Gardens for organising this meeting. Tia’s Northeastern Brazilian Biotope setup was fantastic. It was very illuminating to see the Biotope take shape as each element was added. Tai and Dave were very helpful and answered all our question on a variety of subjects. Tai’s upcoming Biotope book is a mix of history, culture and biotope aquascapes. I wish him all success with the book.

Here are 2 photos of the fantastic aquascapes on display.

Lovely day at Aquarium Gardens. The meet was a bit more intimate than last time, but had a really friendly and chilled vibe. Got chance to meet some very nice folk and chat with old friends.
Tai's @taistrietman biotope style workshop was a great addition to the day and very engaging. Coming from a place of experience you got the sense of a short story from a larger narrative.
Thanks Geoff @Geoffrey Rea for organising the event. And as always, thanks @Aquarium Gardens Dave, and Steve for hosting us.

Wonderful pictures all ⬆️ thank you for this! And thanks to all who came today. It’s a real pleasure hosting you guys. A lovely group and made for a chilled vibe, with a hugely insightful workshop by @taistrietman to enjoy.

Thank you Tai for your creation. Another approach to Aquascaping - your methods and natural inspired approach got everyone thinking.

Thanks @Geoffrey Rea for your help organising the event.

Heres to the next one 👏🙏

Was a really nice day thanks.

Good to catch up with friends and chat to some new people.

As always thanks to Dave and all the staff at Aquarium Gardens for being such great hosts and providing food and refreshments. The showroom was looking on point as usual with tons of inspiration 🙌🏻

Tai, as always, was exceptionally personable, skilled and knowledgeable whilst creating a beautiful slice of aquascaped Brazilian stream. The workshop was a great addition to the day so thanks also for that.

A venue and day well worth travelling for and I’ll look forward to the next time.

That's a shame Gill, and it woud have been good to see you.
Next time 😉
