Afternoon I've just purchased a Twinstar 450 EA light complete with timer ..Is there any way of overriding this timer with a normal mechanical segment type.. I'm having problems ?

What happens when you turn on the light ( timer has all 3 lights on) and you don't set the timer?Afternoon I've just purchased a Twinstar 450 EA light complete with timer ..Is there any way of overriding this timer with a normal mechanical segment type.. I'm having problems ?

I was going to get 4 of them this month. Thanks for posting this. I've got the 450E Version 3 somewhere and I'll possibly have to chop the cable and fit a couple of jacks at some point. What is it like when there is a power cut?the one that comes with the Twinstar can't be removed (well, mine can't anyway)?
No, as the timer is hardwired to the Light unit.Ok wait a minute.. you can just take it out of the circuit can't you?
HiMorning thanks for the reply I've not noticed if all 3 lights are on, on the controller/timer.. But I've just red that when all 3 lights are selected and it lights up the Controller is effectively unset..Does this mean I can use my mechanical timer at this stage?
Thanks
