Twinstar 900e, not 900mm...???

It won't sit properly if the glass thickness is under 10mm.

I've had the same issue with my previous tank and solved it by installing rubber washers between the fixture and the acrylic legs, thus making the whole unit a big longer.

So do they use a different millimetre????

No, this fixture is made for standard 90cm tanks with 10mm glass, so the light itself is shorter by a couple millimeter because the acrylic legs on both ends have to sit on the tank and sort of overhang on the inside.

I have a twin star s series 900s on my Aqua Aquascaper 900 it doesn’t sit snug but does hold well on the top of the tank I have added some rubber non slip padding in the bottom of the light feet just incase I knock it by accident knowing it won’t move but I see where your coming from I got my rubber none slip padding from wilko they sell it in a big bag for around £3
