got a slight problem with one if my plants, done some research and it looks like others on here term it as "melting" what can i do to make sure it stops and doesnt happen again?
This is melt, snip all melting leaves off. As a new tank i wouldnt be too concerned, crypts have a habit of melting when they are moved around. They will settle soon but get the scissors out asap.
does anyone know what it is and how to get rid of it? i removed this one from the tank and this is the second tank that I have. The only new thing since this was set up is a couple of plants. Whatever the thing is it has been in the tank some time, I have looked through the tank and I cant see anything else. help would be much appreciated!
thanks for the feedback guys i have cleaned the tank and took all rocks out and plants. found a few larva attached to plants i hope i have got them all. if not it will be a complete start over or adding carbon as a friend suggested. or i have heard using white spot medice can kill the invertebrates. 😀
This is how one of the tanks ended up, a complete remake of the rebirth process!
The other tank i have decided to make a new project as an optiwhite came into my possession so look out for the new thread!
Small update. This thread is closed now as the new tank as above is more of a side project to my optiwhite, still love the tank but its not my main focus
