Definitely could be. If it is a UK seller Eurhynchium striatum & Kindbergia (Eurhychium) praelonga are both really common. It could also be an Amblystegium or Brachythecium sp. etc. Really common ones are A. serpens and B. rutabulum.some kind of Eurhynchium sp. maybe?
Um....... not a lot that you can say <"Sphagnum moss | The Wildlife Trusts"> , other than "can I have my money back?"Sold as live Sphagnum moss!
