would it be ok to use a pond pump as a sump return pump. need to shift about 10k L/h

that'll do me they're a crap load cheaper than "sump" pumps and easier to find a 10kl/h in too

Use less electric too. I do know that some people replace the screws for titanium ones but think that may purely be for marine tanks

going to be freshwater so should be ok i hope only thing I've noticed really is most pond pumps spit out 22mm pipework so how to get that upto a spraybar will be interesting. going to have to custom make the spraybar its self not sure how to deal with the up and over part though without using horrible normal plumbing push fits.
